"Considerable numbers of weaponry including light and heavy machine guns and artilleries, RBJ, AK47 and anti air craft missiles are now in our force's possession", JEM continues.

The alliance suffered one fatality and some fighters sustained minor injuries. Three soldiers strayed from the battle field and were later detained by the SAF. They are:

1.     Commander A. Zaki

2.     Zakaria Arbab Abdalla

3.     El-Tom Hamed Toto

"We will continue to defend the innocent people of South Kordofan against the genocide regime in Khartoum", they stated.
