Two killed, three injured in cattle raid in Katila Locality, South Darfur

Two people were killed and three injured in fighting over cattle in South Darfur. An armed group attacked a sorrel in Haraza in Katila Locality in South Darfur. The attackers looted 700 cows but were pursued by locals who retrieved the cattle.

According to one source whose account of the incident was broadcast this morning, the attack resulted in the deaths of two men, Adam Mustafa and Abdelazim Issawi, while the son of the omda (tribal official) of the region was wounded alongside two others.
