An employee of the World Food Programme (WFO) was found dead on Friday in the district of Al-Dababin, west of Kutum in North Darfur, a relative of the victim told Radio Dabanga. The motive of the crime or who committed it remains unclear.
Suleiman Ali Abdullah, a Sudanese national, allegedly worked for the WFP for the Department of Safety and Security.
Witnesses found his body at 7:00am on Friday and said he was stabbed on his heart and on his shoulder.
Abdullah was married to two wives, his relative said, explaining the victim was last seen leaving the home of his first wife on Thursday at 10:00pm heading to the home of his second spouse.
It is believed he was killed while moving between both homes, the source suggested.
