The Sudanese Air Forces (SAF) continued bombing various places in South Kordofan on Saturday October 27, Radio Dabanga has learned.
Arno Ngutulu Lodi, official spokesman of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement – North (SPLM-N) stated that an Antonov plane dropped four bombs in the area of Kauda, Heiban locality on Saturday. The shelling caused fear among residents and led them to flee to mountain creeks, caves and valleys in search of safety, he added to Radio Dabanga.
A number of bombs were dropped on the area of Mindy in Umm Doreen locality on Saturday, Lodi added. The bombing injured a young girl, Nora Suleiman Adam, and burnt more than 10 homes.
At the same time, the area of Karji also witnessed an airstrike, leaving one resident, Salah Adam, injured and dozens of livestock dead. In addition, several farms were severely damaged, the spokesman continued.
Lodi said an MiG aircraft bombed the area of Bor Kindy in Dilling locality on the same day, but no casualties have been reported, he added to Radio Dabanga.
