On the first day of Eid al-Adha, the Sudanese Air Forces launched widespread air strikes on several areas of South Kordofan, Radio Dabanga has learned on Friday October 26. The targeted areas include the localities of Umm Doreen, Al-Boram, Dilling, Kadugli and Dalamy.
Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that the air strikes resulted in the death and injuring of a number of citizens, as well as the death of dozens of livestock. In addition, several farms and homes were severely damaged.
They added to Radio Dabanga that an Antonov plane dropped several bombs at around 09:00 o'clock on Friday morning in the southern neighborhoods of Kadugli. The bombing allegedly killed three people and burnt down 3 homes.
The witnessed revealed that the village of Mindy has been exposed to an aerial attack, which resulted in injuring a 15-year-old child as well as burning five homes, they added to Radio Dabanga from south Kadugli.
