Mawasir Market dealer stabbed by Ponzi sheme victim in North Darfur

Mohammed Abu Bakr was stabbed with a knife in his stomach on Sunday in the Wadi neighborhood of El Fasher. He was known to have run an exhibition in Abu Shouk District affiliated with the Mawasir Market, a Ponzi scheme.

The dealer was briefly arrested after the collapse of the market scam earlier this year. The aggressor demanded from him the amount of money that he had speculated in Mawasir Market before it collapsed, but the dealer did not return it to him. After the stabbing, Abu Bakr was taken to El Fasher Teaching Hospital.
