Strong winds and rain destroy houses IDP camps North Darfur

Strong winds and heavy rains have destroyed tens of houses in the camps of Abu Shok and Al Salaam outside El Fasher in North Darfur. The heavy rain combined with storm destroyed several schools and blew off the roofs of several houses. Several people were injured. An IDP described for Radio Dabanga the devastation leaving dozens of families without a roof over their head. He appealed to the international aid organizations to act immediately to provide tents and plastic sheets.
